IN 1967 on a warm summer day, i washed and polished my "carrucha" and went to the 'bola de oro" on Market St. in downtown San Jo" ..and bought me some brown "Khac Khis" and a bright long sleeve black shirt with a skinny silver belt and i shined my black leather shoes then as the evening came on i showered and dressed and put "pomade" on my hair and combed it until the "pomp" was the right size "Elvis style"then after the family "Cena" , i drove and bought a record for my car record player and then went to pick up a "Hyna" i was dating and drove her to get some "Refin" at Mark's Orange Hot Dogs" on Alum Rock Ave. from there we went to the 'mono' at the "Tropicair Twin Vue " drive in where we watched "Black Board Jungle" and I was a Teenage werewolf' ..i liked that one ,por que she was scared and hung on to me "muy appretado" so after the movie la lleve para the hills above alum rock park and we sat there "huachando las luces' from the city below ..pero i wanted to "make out " so i put on some "rollas " by the "SKY LINERS " ..AND HIJOLE !!
