elegant evening outfits

The girls came home not too late last night, around 10:30 PM or so, that was early considered they are still single. I asked what did they do, they said, as usual, they went for happy hours and then went shopping a little bit before heading home. Charlize still was under the bitter mood of having a quarrel with her boyfriend, and Jenny and Nicole were trying not to irritate her more by, not chatting with their boyfriends in front of Charlize. I said Jenny and Nicole are nice girls with very considerate characters... When they came into the house last night, I was listening to the track "Indoor Game" by King Crimson, it was an old 1970 recording, but it was so advanced musically that I think as of today, many if not all of the King Crimson's music can still stand on their own. I immediately turn down the volume when the girls came in from the garage; I understood that these girls did not like music to be that loud especially when it was not their kind... Sort of good gesture for being considerate, I guess. We chatted a little bit about their day at work, and then Nicole said she was hungry as they ate a little bit during the happy hour, but with the walking, while shopping and the cold weather, even I would like to have something to eat. In order to create a better atmosphere, I pretended that I was actually a chef (I actually have a chef hat), and made two dishes, one black bean sauce with chicken and the other minced meat with Tao fu as both were easy enough to cook. The girls really like the dishes and wanted more, I said "No more, but there is the soup left over from last night," and they looked for it in the refrigerator and finished it all... After cleaning, they took showers and went to sleep I guess. This morning, the sun creeped out a little bit, but overall it was a cloudy and cold (by our standard) day... They girls came out of their rooms still in their pajamas; we had croissants, coffee and orange juice for breakfast. I asked if the girls were going to go out; they said probably not. Suddenly, Charlize suggested why did not we play an indoor game of "Dress Up." So we all went into our rooms and searched for whatever clothes we wanted to express ourselves. Well, you know what, I already had my costume, the chef hat, that was all. Then Nicole came out of her room looking like a lady (a more mature one) going to an opera or classical music concert, with the long scarf strapped around her shoulders, she looked very nice. Then came Charlize, she probably was still remembering the sailing days in summer in an outdoor sailing outfit, not bad at all... Jenny then came out and wow, what was that? Jenny wore a huge dress, normally she looked extremely skinny and elegant, with that dress on, she looked like she was way overweight. All of us asked what happen? She said that was the dress she wore two years ago as she was much bigger in those days. I asked, "What size is it?" She said it was a size 18, and she normally wore a size 4 or maybe a 2 nowadays. "Wow!", I said, "I saw a better looking Jenny than that!" Then we all laughed, and it was a fun game... Then they asked, "What is your costume?" I pointed to my chef hat and the sandwiches that I made for lunch". I said "What else, but a chef... elegant evening outfits
